SCPA Hugh K. Leatherman, Sr. Terminal (HLT)

HLT will be a new three (3) berth container terminal consisting of approximately 286 acres of upland development and 3,510 linear feet of wharf.

The South Carolina Ports Authority (SCPA) has completed preliminary demolition and site preparation on a new 280-acre terminal, which at build-out will increase Port of Charleston capacity by 50% – “The Hugh K.
