The South Carolina Ports Authority (SCPA) has completed preliminary demolition and site preparation on a new 280-acre terminal, which at build-out will increase Port of Charleston capacity by 50% – “The Hugh K. Leatherman Sr. Terminal” (HLT). Live Oak Consultants is providing Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Plumbing, Electrical, and Security Engineering services to the SCPA for the concept level design of this new marine terminal.
LOC, leveraging the knowledge gained over the past 10 years of providing multi-discipline engineering services to the SCPA, is now working to develop the concept/configuration/phasing/flow/design of the newest addition to the SCPA’s portfolio of marine terminals.
